A journey to product digitalization

Amore Pacific, one of the world's leading beauty and cosmetics groups, wanted to enrich product presentation and strengthen digital marketing, especially on mobile. The answer was to create digital twins for an extensive product line, improving customer interaction and transforming how content gets made.

Balancing fidelity with versatility

The challenge was to digitize more than 30 beauty products while capturing the finesse of each item's design, colour and material, so that customers would get a lifelike virtual experience. The same assets had to generate versatile marketing material for mobile platforms and social media.

Working with our partners at Mediaman Shanghai, we combined traditional modelling with advanced photo scanning to create highly accurate digital twins. Every item was crafted with precise measurements and true-to-life aesthetics.

Precision measurement as the foundation

Our traditional modelling process was grounded in high-resolution photography and careful measurement. Professional photography captured the intricate details, colours and textures of each product as a reference for our artists, while physical measurements ensured the digital twins mirrored the real dimensions to the smallest detail. Vivid imagery and precise geometry together made the virtual experience as close to physical interaction as possible.

Beauty lies in the details

Later in the project we found that 3D scanning could substantially increase precision while reducing the time spent on each twin. Laser and structured-light scanning record not only dimensions but unique contours and geometries, producing a three-dimensional dataset on which textures and colours can be meticulously applied.

In beauty, the visual representation of a product can decide a purchase. With scanning, Amore Pacific's online offerings are no longer approximations but true-to-life representations customers can trust.

Informed decisions with 360° sequences

Clarity builds confidence. By providing 360° product sequences, customers can explore every angle, texture and feature before buying, forming a complete, interactive understanding of the product.

From concept to final render

Each stage is handled with precision. Initial ideas become sketches that lay out composition and story. Sketches evolve into detailed digital scenes where textures, lighting and materials are refined. The process culminates in polished renders that turn rough concepts into lifelike, market-ready visuals.

Engaging customers with short-form video

Short-form video is one of the most powerful ways to connect with customers. In a few seconds it delivers a visually compelling story that captures attention, sparks emotion and communicates product value. Because every clip is produced from the same digital twins, product demos, behind-the-scenes glimpses and lifestyle moments stay consistent across every platform.
